  • The teacher will invite the students who are ready and committed to sit their exam annually (ages will be taken into consideration with the RAD guidelines)
  • Exams are held at IPA studios for graded work and may need to travel to Launceston for Vocational (high school equivalent) every second year for external exams. (This is optional)
  • Ballet is the core of any dancer and most important to your training.

  • Fast paced class creating group pieces to represent IPA at local eisteddfods in a competitive environment
  • Optional Eisteddfod specific costs ($100 approx.) e.g.-programme, photos, ticketing (SEE FEES & PAYMENTS GUIDE when enrolling)
  • The Eisteddfod is held at the Wrest Point Casino in the first week of the school holidays between term two and three
  • Routine performed in the hip hop section is urban modern and upbeat generally

OPEN LYRICAL

Wednesdays 8:00 – 8:30pm

  • This class is perfect for the beginner but also great for experienced lyrical dancers as it is tailored for the needs of each student
  • Numbers are limited
  • Training focussed

  • Kicking routines from ages 13 & up (ADAPT & COLLECTIVE)
  • Fast paced class creating group pieces to represent IPA at local eisteddfods in a competitive environment
  • The Eisteddfod is held at Wrest Point Casino in the first week of the school holidays between term two and three.
  • There are additional costs involved of costumes (ranging from $120-$200)
  • Optional Eisteddfod specific costs ($100 approx.) e.g.-programme, photos, ticketing (SEE FEES & PAYMENTS GUIDE when enrolling)
Private lessons
applicable only if committed to group class either competitive or non-competitive

The group teacher will approach the parent of the student when they are showing commitment and good work ethic to enter solos at the eisteddfod or pop-up competitions

We have a strong faculty in all genres with a plethora of training and experience. Our staff are highly passionate about their role in teaching their students the wonderful experience of dance, on and off the stage.
